May Picks

So last night, or should I say early in the morning (like 1am early), I was brainstorming about the blog and thought of what I said in my previous post saying that "my next post will be around the 26th" but then my blog post ideas came rushing to me one by one (which I wont spoil to you). There were like five topics I cant wait to share with you. Ideas were landsliding to me and for the celebration of the first month of the blog portfolio (!!!), one of it is my May Picks!! The list is where I'am getting myself addicted to for this month:


Books

~To All the Boys I've Loved Before

Yep. This is where I got my title inspiration for my previous blog post "To All the Girls Who Loved Before". As much as you need to read that, you probably need to read this too! Don''t worry. If you can't find a copy of this in the bookstores near you, you can download an e-book copy of it anywhere in the net so that you can read it and cope up with the book world. You will definitely love this book. It's a story of a girl with the five boys she loved in her life plus it's second book P.S: I Still Love You is coming out on the 26th so better read it before it comes out! ~Eleanor and Park

At first, the story will make no sense but it will all work together in the middle especially in the end! I love the twist of this story and in fact, this is my favorite book! You can also download epub version of this. If you happen to finish it, you might want to go back to the first page again. That's why I love this book. It's so good and the lines are just breathtaking.

~Things We Know by Heart

I loved the story! Although the manner of writing was a bit, just a little bit, off. Buuut, the story is so good. It makes you wanna cry and roll into where you are into the place of sadness and grief. Hahaha jk. I loved the ending and loved the beginning and the middle. Hahaha! The title will make sense if you finish it and  I love that kind of books which are at first, you can't understand what's going on and then the twist bumps into you and the chapters worked all together. I love it!

~Confess

I bet you will love this book because when I was just in the 10th page, I felt like crying. Note it: 10th page. Hahaha! It's not that heavy but it moved me. If the beginning is the bomb, wait until the end. But don't skip to the end without reading the later pages, you will lose your luck. Well, as the saying goes. The book can get a better title but let's not judge it by the title. Give this book a shot and it will all be worth it. You will fall in love with the male lead character! I love his lines. Although the story will unexpectedly twist. You better get ready. *evil laugh*

~Unbreak My Heart

It's the perfect time to read this kind of book. It's a story about a girl spending her summer away from her friends because she had some arguments with them. It makes you wonder what you should do if you are in a position like hers. I didn't like it at first but you must continue reading because as the reading goes, the story gets better. It makes you realize what you should not do to your friends and what you should do to make it right. The book is just short so it wont take time it you read it.

Rompers are the summer must-haves! Although dresses like these are hard to find. These kind are so costy in the dept stores :(

~DQ Moolatte

This is heaven in your mouth. Moolatte got me craving for the day I tasted it up to now huhu. I've got a sweet tooth and I looove dairy products so this is a thumbs up for me!

~Kerrimo Fries and Drinks

Thank heavens that the Kerrimo stall here in Malolos is really reachable. I always take home one and watch movies in the laptop. It's perfect for a movie girl like me! (orange juice + cheese fries pls hahaha)

~Oishi Oaties Milk

It's milk + oats in one! I can finish a big pack (or two) in one day. This made me love dairy products and I thank my Lola for letting me try this. I won't let go of it now.

 Movies

~Harry Potter movie series

J.K Rowling and the directors are the real geniuses! For movie junkies like me, you should watch it all. Since the series consists of 8 movies, this post will not be able to contain my feels and my review about all the Harry Potter movies! There's too much love to contain! That's why (now I'm spoiling you), I will post a Harry Potter blog post. Watch out for it! (I'm saving up the blog guest oops another spoiler)

They always pick the best cast to portray the roles. They never fail and I'm so happy. Hahaha! I loved the story that will make you happy then make you sad and happy then sad again. It's that good! Hihi watch it.

~Mean Girls

I just rewatched this about a week ago cause the lines and the story are blurred into my mind haha. "In Wednesdays, we wear pink." and "You cant sit with us" are the real hookers of the movie hahaha. Good this is not happening in our school cause I'll promise I'll bump their head in a table even if I'm not their mother. Hahaha!

Music

~Trumpets cover by The Vamps in BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge

When I scrolled by this in Youtube, I was like "How they will cover that?!" then it turns out to be peeeerfect! BBC's awesome! You should go by their account in Youtube and listen to your fave artists singing songs you never expect them to cover. Like Fall Out Boy singing Uptown Funk and Imagine Dragons covering Blank Space. Then here I found my favorite. 00:37 made me fall in love. It's the 4th song in my playlist!

~Settle Down by The 1975

The 1975's trademark as always are you will not understand the lyrics unless you google it. The lyrics were "zsadasdqdaxadf, settle down, \asddfdsaxas" Hahahaha! It was something like that at first. I loved the tune although I cant say I love the lyrics because as what I said, I dont understand it. Hahahah! Matt Healy's voice is just too awesome my ears can't handle it. Hahaha!

~Beautiful Girl by Hedley

I love this song! Although maybe you will not be able to find it in the net because Hedley's sweeping up all their songs in their album Wild Life in the stream for some reasons. But this is the first song that plays when you visit my blog. The first time the sound wave of this song reached my ear, I automatically love it. It's for us girls! 

~Cody Simpson Live in Manila

The good news is out! Cody Simpson will be performing in Resorts World Manila this coming August 12! (12 is really my lucky number indeed). I'm so rooting for this concert and I'm so happy Wilbros is taking Cody here <3 I literally freaked out and went crazy when my sister saw a tweet about the concert. I will save for this one and buy a ticket. Ticket prizes are not yet announced but it will be on the 15th. If you would like to come, come with me! It will hopefully be my second concert so it will be a blast!! Waaa! <3 (my first was Regine Velasquez' hahaha)
