A Journey To Womanhood

This post came unexpected but I'm so proud to share with you guys the outcome of my twin sister, Giealine Toribio's mini campaign about being girl teenagers and their way to become a woman. My childhood friend, Para, came over for a slumber night and this is what happened. My sister decided to test her amazing makeup skills to us (since it's so scarce we get times like this wherein she can practice the make up she wants with two girls) and her mad photography. It was so unexpected that it's not even on the blog posts I'm keeping till I publish it out. I'm telling you this is not her best yet because we don't have that much make-up tools and large photography equipment in the house. But I guess, if she will be given a job, she will never fail to shock you with the outcome. So enough with my talking, let's hear some letters from the creative director:

"White Polo Project:
I want to show people how sharp a woman can be. You can be a woman no matter what age you're in. Womanhood doesn't only start when you reach 18 or 21 or 37, that is not the deciding point of maturity. Womanhood starts when a girl realizes her true worth, her value and of course, when she realize that she alone, can be an influential person. They say that the youth is the hope of tomorrow. That is true. But for me, woman too, are capable of bringing the world not only to tomorrow, but for a brighter tomorrow. You are beautiful and it has nothing to do with your face. Don't be just yourself. Be the woman of yourself. The White Polo Project aims to show girls bravery and leadership, while being beautiful."

This was Giea's first time (take note: yes, first time) of trying the smokey eye and also a first time for me to wear smokey eye makeup since I have no use for it. Too good for a first time!

To be honest, I have zero ideas on how my poses will register in the camera. They told me not to move while they're capturing me that's why I didn't know what it looks from the cam. They were just shouting and sounded really excited about it behind the scene.
